Job summary

A leading IT support firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate to provide application-level support in a manufacturing environment. The role involves working night shifts and requires experience in IT helpdesk support and basic SQL/database querying. Responsibilities include monitoring issues, conducting IT audits, and troubleshooting hardware/software problems. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in IT and at least 1 year of relevant experience. This position offers hands-on challenges in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide full IT helpdesk and end-user support during shift hours.
  • Monitor and respond to issues via ticketing system related to manufacturing systems.
  • Extract system transaction data using basic SQL queries.
  • Monitor network/server health.
  • Conduct internal IT audits and training.
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Handle IT asset procurement and management.
  • Maintain internal knowledge base and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Troubleshoot system/application faults.

Job description

Shift Timing: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Thursday to Saturday, Alternate Wednesdays)

This role provides application-level support in a manufacturing environment, with requirement of night shift operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT helpdesk support, MES system troubleshooting, and basic SQL/database querying.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full IT helpdesk and end-user support during shift hours; remote assistance may be required.
  • Monitor and respond to issues via Ingrasys ticketing system related to SFC/WMS and other manufacturing systems, following SOPs.
  • Extract system transaction data using basic SQL queries.
  • Monitor network/server health and support production/tester networks; elevate issues as needed.
  • Conduct internal IT audits and training to ensure compliance with factory IT policies.
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Handle IT asset procurement, installation, configuration, license renewals, and account management.
  • Maintain internal knowledge base and assist in root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Troubleshoot system/application faults and resolve hardware/software problems.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of IT helpdesk experience with basic SQL skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP) and Wintel system administration.
  • Exposure to MES/WMS systems is a plus.
