Site Supervisor (Water Treatment Operations)
- Supervise and coordinate daily plant operations, including water intake, treatment, distribution, and waste management.
- Monitor process parameters, equipment performance, and water quality to ensure compliance with operating standards.
- Plan, assign, and supervise the work of plant operators, mechanics, and technicians.
- Conduct inspections of treatment units, pumps, valves, filters, and chemical dosing systems.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with maintenance teams.
- Review and approve work permits, ensure safety compliance, and enforce operational procedures.
- Troubleshoot plant issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of production, chemical usage, water quality data, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate plant personnel to ensure skill development and high performance.
- Support commissioning, plant shutdown, and emergency response activities.
- Liaise with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Education: Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment operations, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes (filtration, disinfection, clarification, etc.).
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, or local environmental and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
