ASSISTANT SHOP SUPERVISOR
Job summary
A retail company in Singapore is looking for an experienced individual to assist in daily store operations. Responsibilities include ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of retail experience and is able to work flexible hours. This position offers a dynamic work environment where teamwork and service orientation are crucial.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail.
- Able to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Service-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist Store Supervisor in daily operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries.
- Coordinate stock levels and maintain merchandising.
Skills
- Arranging of products First-In-First-Out (FIFO) to ensure that products are within their shelf life
- Assist Store Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the store.
- To provide excellent customer service to customers and address customers’ inquiries, feedback and complaints
- To achieve sales target and KPI according to company guidelines.
- Coordinate sufficient stock level. Maintain and monitor optimum, accurate inventory level and minimise stock loss.
- Maintain in-store merchandising/product presentation.
- Maintain administrative procedures and ensure timely submission of administrative documents according to company guidelines.
- Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees.
- Ensure that cash control and stock control procedures are adhered to.
- Undertake any other duties in relation to the job scope as assigned by your superior from time to time.
- To keep the store environment clean, neat and tidy.
- Min 3 years of experience in retail line
- Able to work shift hours, weekends and public holidays
- 5.5day average work week
- Service-oriented and a team player
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
