Job description
Position and Scope

The Employee is engaged as Centre Head and shall be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the Centre, including but not limited to supervision of staff, execution of curriculum, communication with parents, and administration of operational matters.

Duties of Centre Head

The Employee shall perform the following duties and responsibilities to the best of their abilities and in compliance with the Employer’s policies, procedures, and operational standards:

a. Centre Operations & Management
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day running of the Centre.
    Ensure the Centre is operationally ready at all times, including opening and closing procedures.
    Ensure compliance with all Centre SOPs, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations.
b. Leadership & Staff Supervision
  • Lead, supervise, evaluate, and provide guidance to centre staff.
    Conduct regular team meetings, briefings, and performance discussions.
    Ensure teachers fulfil their responsibilities in lesson delivery, discipline, administrative tasks, and student engagement.
c. Curriculum & Programme Delivery
  • Oversee implementation of lesson planning, scheduling of enrichment/tuition programmes, and holiday learning activities.
    Ensure lesson quality and adherence to KinderBridge’s curriculum framework.
d. Student Management & Safety
  • Ensure the well-being, safety, discipline, and emotional security of students at all times.
    Actively identify, report, and mitigate potential risks relating to operations, student behaviour, or safety.
    Ensure smooth and secure handover of student custody (parents/guardians/transport providers).
e. Parent Communication & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the main point of contact for parents regarding centre-related matters, student conduct, and feedback.
    Maintain professional, timely, and responsive communication with parents.
f. Centre Administration & Reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required administrative duties, including attendance tracking, incident reports, procurement lists, and internal forms.
    Submit regular operational updates, issues, and progress reports to the Cluster Head / Management.
g. Centre Enrolment & Marketing Support
  • Support centre marketing initiatives, conduct centre tours for prospective parents, and participate in student enrolment activities as required by Management.
    Uphold a positive representation of the Centre and the Employer’s brand at all times.
Duties of Chinese Curriculum Creator
a. Curriculum Development
  • Design and develop Chinese curriculum materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and enrichment activities.
b. Content Creation
  • Produce age‑appropriate and engaging materials that align with KinderBridge’s curriculum framework and learning outcomes.
c. Quality Assurance
  • Review, edit, and refine curriculum content based on feedback to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
d. Teacher Support
  • Provide guidance or training to teachers on curriculum usage and lesson delivery when required.
e. Timely Submission
  • Complete and submit all curriculum deliverables according to agreed schedules and deadlines.
f. Confidentiality
  • Ensure all curriculum content remains confidential and is not disclosed or used for any purpose outside of the Employer’s business.
