Senior Section Manager: Civil Construction and Tunneling
Job summary
A major civil engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer with at least 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities include overseeing site activities, leading site engineers, and ensuring safety compliance. Applicants should hold a degree in Civil Engineering and possess strong leadership skills. Commitment to working weekends and holidays may be necessary. This position offers an opportunity to manage significant infrastructure projects effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 20 years of experience in the construction industry in an EPC main contractor capacity.
- Experience in tunnelling projects as a main contractor is an advantage.
- Capacity to handle pressure and committed to work on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Check materials and work for compliance with requirements.
- Lead site engineers and coordinate with project manager.
- Conduct daily site inspections for tunneling works.
