A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a motivated Fund Investment Analyst to assist with investment research, monitoring portfolios, and preparing reports. The ideal candidate will have a degree in finance or a related field, 2-3 years of experience, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required for communication with clients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fund Investment Analyst to join our family office. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Assist in fund investment research on macro-economic research, fund research, performance analysis, financial modeling, and related analysis.
Monitor the firm’s investment portfolios managed by third-party asset managers, including discretionary mandates, private credit funds, and other alternative investment vehicles, and provide timely progress updates.
Track portfolios returns and risks, ensuring alignment with the firm’s investment objectives and risk parameters. Prepare periodic investment reports, performance summaries, and ad hoc analyses for internal review.
Conduct ongoing market and industry research relevant to exit opportunities and potential investments. Analyze and interpret various data points from multiple sources and compile findings into summary reports and recommendations.
Assist with fund subscription, redemption and reporting. Maintain internal dataset and work with other team for monthly report.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Degree in business/economics, finance or accounting or related professional qualification.
2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably financial investment related.
Strong command of both English and Chinese (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, although proficiency in Bloomberg is preferred but not required.
Self-driven, responsible, and willing to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Positive work attitude with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Independent and critical thinker with exceptional analytical ability.
