Project/Installation Technician
Job summary
A technology installation company in Singapore is seeking a support technician to assist in the installation of cables and other equipment. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with responsibilities including ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, troubleshooting tasks, and maintaining tools. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team. The position may require standby duty.

Responsibilities
- Support the installation of cables and equipment mounting with the team.
- Assist in troubleshooting tasks and ensuring security compliance.
- Help with documentation for end users and evaluate installation quality.
- Assist in documentation for end-users.
- Evaluate the quality of installation services.
- Maintain tools and equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Standby duty might be required.
Skills
Reporting to the Project Manager, your role is to support the installation of cables and other equipment to ensure timely completion of projects. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are able to work as a team or independently.
- Working in a team to support the installation of Cables and Equipment Mounting.
- Supporting the team with Troubleshooting Task.
- Ensure that personal security complies with established safety guidelines.
- Assist team lead with documentation for end user.
- Evaluate and feedback on the quality of installation services delivered.
- Maintain tools, motor vehicles and test equipment.
- Conduct routine upholding of equipment inclusive of repairs and adjustments.
- Perform housekeeping duties and ensure store is upkept at all times.
- Standby duty might be required.
