A local floral company in Singapore is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support their finance team with tasks such as handling accounts payables and receivables, maintaining vendor records, and assisting in monthly closing and reconciliation. Candidates should have at least 1 year of accounting experience and a minimum qualification of Nitec or A Level in a related field. Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential.
Support the finance team with accounting tasks.
Handle Accounts Payables and Accounts receivables function.
Maintain vendor records and handle queries related to billing or payment discrepancies.
Record and reconcile daily sales receipts from retail outlets (cash, Nets, credit card, e-wallets).
Maintain accuracy of inputting accounts details into accounting system.
Maintain proper filing and records.
Assist in monthly closing and reconciliation.
Provide admin and ad hoc support when needed.
Minimum Nitec or A Level in related discipline.
At least 1 year experience in accounting role.
Able to work independently, organized, meticulous, positive attitude and as a team player.
Strong sense of integrity and accountability.
Immediate or short notice candidate is a plus.
