Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Senior Lab Technician for a 6-month contract. The candidate will conduct laboratory analysis, perform quality control inspections, and assist with document generation. Ideal candidates have a NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology and some QA & QC experience. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic production environment.
Qualifications
- NITEC or Diploma holder from Chemical Process Technology preferred.
- Some prior experience in QA & QC preferred.
- Proven working experience as a lab assistant.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily laboratory analysis of finished goods and raw materials.
- Perform in-process quality control inspections at production lines.
- Assist in generating COAs/COCs and provide QA review in the SAP system.
Skills
Education
JOB SCOPE:
- To conduct daily laboratory analysis of finished goods, raw materials and other related testing.
- To work closely with production team to perform in-process quality control (QC) inspections at production lines.
- To assist in generating COAs/COCs and provide administrative support including QA review and approval in the SAP system.
- To perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance for analytical instruments.
- To perform routine and safety program checks within the laboratory.
- To practice safe work habits, including complying with all EHS rules and regulations.
- Be able to conduct laboratory investigations when required.
- Any other ad hoc tasks and short-term projects which the supervisor may assign from time to time.
Requirements:
- NITEC or Diploma holder from Chemical Process Technology (Industrial Chemistry) preferred.
- Some prior experience preferred in QA & QC.
- Proven working experience as a lab assistant.
