A technology service provider is seeking a technician in Singapore to install and service machines while educating customers on device maintenance. Responsibilities include performing routine checks, diagnosing technical issues, managing service documentation, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role demands a pro-active approach to ensure customer satisfaction and equipment reliability.
1. To install and test all machines and accessories before passing as fit for use and educating customer on how to use and maintain their device.
2. To service customer machines and to ensure machines are always in good working condition and explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers
3. To respond to customer calls expeditiously, or as directed by Superiors.
4. To plan and provide Routine Checks on a regular basis to ensure minimum disruption to Customers.
5. To ensure machines and the surrounding areas are thoroughly cleaned after each call.
6. To be aware of high-cost items and to use fault analysis approach to test/diagnose.
7. To order and maintain parts needed for repair as well as personal tool kit.
8. To record accurately and submit promptly all service documentation and reports on services that have been performed.
9. To deliver and replenish consumables as requested by customers.
10. To collect Meter Readings as directed by the Manager or his/her Assistant.
11. To build and maintain relationships with customers
