Job summary

Job description

• Working day: Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Operatebasic toolroom equipment such as surface grinders and lathe machines.
• Involved in process tool control activities, as well as routine and non-routine maintenance tasks include tooling inspection, guide tube straightening, and tooling maintenance with proper record keeping.
• Perform in-process inspections of all tooling components and workpieces to ensure readiness for operation.
• Carry out tool repairs, troubleshoot tooling issues, and recommend improvements to address recurring problems.
• Complete tooling acceptance forms and maintain detailed records of tooling conditions.
• Participate in Lean workshops when required.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of cleanroom systems, and collaborate with the facilities team on cleanroom HVAC matters.
• Support cleanroom preventive and corrective maintenance programs includes proactively coordinating with contractors on-site during execution, and implementing corrective and preventive actions based on lessons learned to avoid recurrence.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Possess minimum Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 1-2 years of experience.
• Ability to read tooling drawings.
• Proven experience in facilities engineering or a related field is an advantage.
