We focus on providing innovative, functional, and sustainable furniture for both residential and commercial spaces. We are looking for a talented Design Production Specialist who has hands-on experience with Spazio by Biesse, a software used to control modular furniture manufacturing machines, to join our growing team.Job Overview:We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Production Specialist who will be responsible for working with Spazio by Biesse to create production-ready designs for our modular furniture products. The ideal candidate should have experience in modular furniture design and a strong understanding of production software. The role requires proficiency in using design software and the ability to bridge the gap between design and production, ensuring the seamless transition of designs into manufacturing.Key Responsibilities: Design Integration with Spazio: Use Spazio by Biesse to convert modular furniture designs into production-ready files. Ensure that designs are optimized for Biesse manufacturing machines, meeting quality and precision standards. Collaborate with Design Team: Work closely with the design team to create innovative furniture designs that align with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities, using Spazio to ensure accurate production outcomes. Production Support: Oversee the preparation of production files, ensuring they are aligned with machine specifications. Coordinate with the production team to resolve any design-related issues during manufacturing. Customization and Optimization: Customize and adjust designs within Spazio to maximize material efficiency and reduce production time, while maintaining the highest quality standards. Monitor Production Workflow: Track and ensure the timely execution of production schedules, maintaining a seamless flow between design and manufacturing processes. Data Management & Reporting: Manage and update production data using Excel and Google Sheets. Create regular reports for the design and production teams, providing insights into production timelines, material usage, and any design adjustments needed. Adaptability to New Technologies: Stay updated with new features in Spazio and other production software tools as the company continues to grow and incorporate more advanced technologies. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement, sales, and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet cost and material constraints.Key Requirements: Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a design role within the modular furniture industry, with hands-on experience using Spazio by Biesse or similar production software. Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of modular furniture design and production processes, including the ability to integrate design concepts with machine manufacturing capabilities. Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Spazio by Biesse, Excel, and Google Sheets. Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is also desirable. Creativity & Attention to Detail: Strong design skills with an eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve design and production-related issues quickly and efficiently. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams to ensure the successful completion of projects. Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems and technologies.Preferred Skills: Experience with other modular furniture design or production management software.
