My clients are a well-established company within the Healthcare industry and are looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager. This role focuses on Strategic Procurement and Category Management, responsible for leading and managing the procurement team to develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies. The role involves overseeing category sourcing, supplier initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, engaging with stakeholders to improve procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and driving cost savings. It also includes organizational planning, human resource management, and fostering team development.

1. Strategic Sourcing & Category Management: Develop and execute sourcing strategies, oversee category sourcing and supplier initiatives, support vendor performance, ensure compliance, monitor market trends, and conduct spend analysis, with an understanding of sustainability.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Enhance procurement processes, promote operational consolidation and cost savings, mediate disputes, optimize vendor performance, maintain vendor partnerships, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
3. Management of Vendor Performance: Track and monitor vendor performance, address contract and operational concerns.
4. Organizational Planning: Develop strategies for future business needs, optimize resources, collaborate with suppliers, and facilitate succession planning.

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce/Finance, Nursing, or Allied Health.
• Graduate Diploma or Masters in Purchasing & Supply Chain is advantageous.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in healthcare (Pharma or Medical Device).
• Strong leadership experience of 7-10 years is essential.
• Experience managing teams and organizational functions.
• Proficiency in SAP MM and eProcurement tools.

• Thought leadership and innovative mindset.
• Team leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and decision-making abilities.
