Job summary
A veterinary hospital/clinic in Singapore is seeking a veterinary nurse to evaluate admissions, assist in emergency situations, and provide post-operative care. Candidates with diplomas or degrees in veterinary nursing or animal care are encouraged to apply, with training provided for entry-level applicants. This role operates on a rotational basis of 4 days a week.
Qualifications
- Candidate with Diploma/Degree in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Care are welcome to apply.
- Entry level are welcome to apply, training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and facilitate the admission process for new pets/animals.
- Provide support for anaesthesia monitoring and recovery during emergency situations.
- Assist emergency veterinarians with care and treatment of hospitalized animals.
- Oversee and monitor critical animals closely.
- Perform radiographic imaging to assist diagnosis and treatment.
- Safely restrain animals during exams and treatments.
- Prepare patients for surgeries and manage post-operative care including bandaging and recovery.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients regarding treatment and care.
Education
- Basic $3500-$7000 (Depends on seniority)
- 4 days a week on rotational basis
- Location: Central OR North
- Established and stable Vet hospital/Clinic
