Job summary
A not-for-profit hospital in Singapore is seeking a compassionate Nursing Professional to deliver patient-centered care in the Day Ward. You will be responsible for planning and evaluating nursing care, ensuring patient safety and complying with hospital standards. The candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Nursing and a valid nursing license. This role requires commitment to a 6-day work week with shifts.

You will work alongside the Nursing Leaders to deliver patient-centred and compassionate nursing care to our patients in the Day Ward.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Plans, provides and evaluates nursing care according to patient's needs, doctor's orders and hospital policies.
- Upholds hospital nursing standards in documentation, treatment, patient monitoring and infection control.
- Keeps Senior Nurse Manager/ Nurse Manager / Doctor informed on patient’s condition, treatment/ intervention and outcome.
- Takes active measures to ensure the safety of patients. Report all occurrence incidents to Ward or Senior Nurse Manager / Nurse Manager-on-Call
- Works cooperatively with other Hospital Departments to provide holistic patient care.
- Ensures accurate billing procedures.
- Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance in starting and building a strong culture in performance & engagement.
- Able to provide patient care with the rest of the team members.
- Comfortable to work for 6 days work week (am/pm shift) and to do on-call.
- Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
- Shuttle bus services from Bishan and Caldecott MRT.
- Subsided staff meals.
