Job summary
A luxury hotel in Singapore seeks a Housekeeping Attendant to ensure all areas are cleaned to the hotel's standards. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, updating room statuses, and stocking pantry areas. Candidates must be self-motivated, understand English, and be willing to work shifts including weekends and holidays. This role is vital for maintaining the hotel's efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform effectively under high pressure.
- Basic understanding of the English language is essential.
- Able to do shift work and work on weekends/public holidays.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all hotel public areas are cleaned according to standards.
- Ensure guest rooms are cleaned according to standards.
- Ensure proper amenities are placed in rooms.
- Update room status for proper assignment.
- Stock pantry areas neatly and safely.
- Finish jobs according to daily work schedule.
- Report incidents and missing items immediately.
- Perform tasks assigned by managers.
Skills
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for all cleaning duties as appropriately assigned by the Cabin Crew Manager and Hotel Manager to maintain an efficient housekeeping operation in the hotel.
- Ensures that all hotel public areas such as the hotel lobby, lounge, gym and all guest walkway areas are well cleaned in accordance to the room cleaning standards as outlined by the hotel.
- Ensures that guest rooms are well cleaned in accordance to the room cleaning standards as outlined by the hotel.
- Ensure all proper and appropriate amenities such as baby cot requests are placed in room for check-in.
- Ensure that all room status are updated for proper assignment of rooms.
- Ensures that assigned floor pantry areas are well stocked, neat and do not breach fire safety regulations.
- Finishes all jobs assigned according to the work schedule of the day.
- Reports all incidents and missing items immediately to the Cabin Crew Manager.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Cabin Crew Manager, or Hotel Manager.
- Ability to perform effectively under high pressure, self-motivated, high energy and enthusiastic.
- Basic understanding of the English language is essential.
- Able to do shift work; work on weekends, eve/public holidays as and when assigned.
