BlockTech is a fast-paced algorithmic trading firm facilitating global cryptocurrency trading while expanding into regulated markets. As we continue to grow rapidly, we are looking for a Quantitative Researcher to join us amid our exciting scale-up phase!

• Conduct research on trading problems with a practical and solution-driven mindset.
• Collaborate closely with Quantitative Traders, Quantitative Developers, and Data Scientists on the trading floor to develop, evaluate, and enhance robust pricing models.
• Explore new trading opportunities and build back-testing tools.
• Test your ideas using high-volume market data and implement them in production.
• Monitor implemented features and provide support when needed.

• An academic degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics or any other quantitative field with excellent study results (cum laude or higher)
• Experience working with Python
• Programming experience in Python
• Proven ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems
• A positive, can-do attitude and a creative mindset
• A genuine interest in financial markets
• A long-term commitment to growing with us
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
