Job summary
A respected service provider in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Operation Manager for its Funeral Service operations. The role involves coordinating services, managing staff schedules, and supervising customer service activities. Ideal candidates should have 2-4 years of management experience and a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license. This position offers a competitive monthly salary of up to $4,500 and requires a commitment to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 2-4 years of management experience.
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.
- Willingness to work overtime and perform night standby duties when required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Funeral Operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Manage Staff Scheduling and oversee resources.
- Collaborate with teams for operational alignment.
- Supervise the Customer Service Team.
- Support Operations and assist HR with recruitment.
- Perform Administrative and Ad-Hoc Duties.
Skills
Funeral Service Industry | up to 6 days work
- Office Location: Geylang Bahru, Singapore
- Working Hours: Mon – Fri/Sat 8.00am – 5.00pm
- Monthly Salary: basic up to $4500 + Variable Bonus (VB)
- Employment Type: Full time, Permanent Contract

- Coordinate Funeral Operations – Support transfer, sending, and funeral arrangements to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Manage Staff Scheduling and Resources – Prepare monthly schedules for ground staff and oversee petty cash and vehicle‑related matters.
- Collaborate Across Departments – Work closely with various teams to ensure effective communication and operational alignment.
- Supervise Customer Service Activities – Oversee the Customer Service Team, including phone support and management of funeral parlours.
- Support Operations and HR Functions – Ensure company policies are communicated to the Operations Team and assist HR with recruitment efforts.
- Perform Administrative and Ad‑Hoc Duties – Carry out additional tasks as assigned to support overall business and departmental goals.
- At least 2‑4 years of management experience
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license
- Willingness to work overtime and perform night standby duties when required.
- Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice will be preferred
