Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist in daily site operations and coordinate with various stakeholders for smooth site activities. This role is open to entry-level candidates who have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include resolving technical issues, conducting inspections, and ensuring construction works align with project timelines. The salary ranges from $3,500 to $4,200 monthly.
Qualifications
- Open to entry-level candidates with a strong interest in site engineering and construction management.
- Able to work in a fast-paced site environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily site operations, ensuring construction works are executed according to plans.
- Coordinate with Professional Engineers and subcontractors to support site activities.
- Resolve on-site engineering issues promptly while upholding quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare reports when required.
- Guide site personnel to maintain orderly work areas.
Skills
Education
- Assist in daily site operations, ensuring construction works are executed according to plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with Professional Engineers, consultants (QPS), and subcontractors to address technical matters and support smooth site activities.
- Resolve on-site engineering and technical issues promptly, while upholding required quality and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and develop method statements when required.
- Monitor and guide site personnel to maintain orderly work areas and ensure progress aligns with project timelines.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Open to entry-level candidates with strong interest in site engineering and construction management.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, drawings, and basic engineering principles.
- Strong communication and coordination skills when dealing with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment.
Salary: $3,500 to $4,200
