Ideal candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in IT, a degree in a related field, and possess strong communication skills. Overview
The Role:
Provide technical support for maintenance, patching, and upkeep of Microsoft, Nutanix and Citrix server systems.
Assist in managing compliance-related tasks to ensure regulatory adherence.
Collaborate in troubleshooting and resolving system issues to minimise downtime.
Support day-to-day service and change requests, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Manage IT equipment inventory, including tracking, condemnation, and disposal processes.
Coordinate with vendors and clients to facilitate deployments, system refreshes, and other technical initiatives.
The Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or its equivalent.
Good technical skills in engineering, computer, and IT systems, and preferably in communications technologies as well.
Has 1 to 3 years minimum work experience in Information Technology industry in the areas of Microsoft, Nutanix or Citrix system implementation, project management and O&S.
Has good communication and writing skills.
Has experience in performing project management, handle technical challenges and in liaising with the user and vendor to define business requirements and deliver technical solution.
Good working knowledge of Life Cycle Management and Systems Engineering in Windows server platform not limited to Microsoft System Centre suite of products.
