Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marine Engineer to join our team at MODERN AUTOMATION AND ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore. The role involve providing technical support and maintenance for marine equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on a variety of marine equipment and systems onboard vessels in Anchorage, Port and Shipyard.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports, including maintenance records, repair logs, and calibration certificates.
• Collaborate with the operations team
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
• Adhoc tasks by supervisors

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marine engineering or marine technical support roles or diploma in engineering fields. Salary will be negotiable based on relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with shipboard equipment, including onboard experience in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant technical certifications in marine electronics or mechanics are preferred.
• Able to board vessels frequently. Willingness to travel and work onboard vessel if there is requirement.
