Job summary
A civil engineering firm in Singapore seeks a qualified professional to manage planning and design for civil engineering projects. Responsibilities include preparing technical specifications and overseeing compliance with industry standards. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and be skilled in relevant structural design software. The role demands strong project management abilities, both independently and collaboratively within teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree recognized by Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
- Familiar with local Codes, Eurocode, and statutory regulations.
- Experience with structural design software is essential.
Responsibilities
- Involved in planning and designing civil engineering works.
- Prepare technical specifications and tender documents.
- Supervise technical works to meet statutory standards.
- Collaborate with peers across disciplines and stakeholders.

- Involved in the full spectrum of planning and designing of civil engineering works
- Prepare and support the design and technical specifications for tenders; as well as tender documents for the bidding of civil (buildings and infrastructure) projects
- Supervise technical works and ensure it comply to statutory standards and requirements
- Collaborate with peers from other discipline(s) to meet project requirements and cohesively delivery quality service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering of its equivalent that is recognised by Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Familiar with engineering design local Codes, Eurocode, and statutory regulations and requirements.
- Well verse in structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, Prokon, Tekla Tedds, SAFE, SAP 2000, etc.
- Good project management skills, able to work independent and as a team player.
