Job summary

A public transportation company in Singapore is looking for a candidate to assist with the maintenance activities of their DTL Systems Department. The ideal applicant must hold a diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, with at least three years of relevant experience. Essential skills include strong planning, organization, and interpersonal abilities, along with knowledge in computer hardware and software applications.   • Experience in maintenance of Railway Communications and ISCS Systems.
  • Hands-on experience in start-up operations.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assist and implement the maintenance activities of DTL Systems Department as assigned by Snr/Assistant Engineer.
  • Conduct failure analysis, investigations, and manage system replacement programs.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives, system improvements, and upgrades.
  • Ensure maintenance meets safety, reliability, and availability standards.
  • Support ISO certification processes and compliance.
  • Coordinate with contractors for defect rectification and modifications.
  • Analyze faults and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor equipment modifications, upgrades, and conduct audits.
  • Develop and implement work instructions and specifications.
  • Investigate incidents and delays related to systems.
  • Assist in planning and delivering WSQ-compliant in-house training.
  • Support A&A works, system upgrades, and project tasks.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least three years of relevant experience for Higher Nitec holder
  • Knowledge in computer hardware and software applications
  • Experience in maintenance of Railway Communications and ISCS Systems.
  • Experience in testing and commissioning of Communications and ISCS Systems.
  • Hands-on experience in start-up operations.
  • Able to lead a team to perform maintenance work
  • Can work with own initiative and independent
