Science Teacher
Job summary
An educational institution in Singapore is seeking a qualified educator to deliver engaging classroom experiences for primary and secondary students. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 2 years of teaching experience, and be familiar with the AEIS and MOE syllabus. Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom management, and building relationships with parents. Strong classroom delivery skills and the ability to speak Chinese are preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Up-to-date with the latest AEIS and MOE syllabus.
- 2 years of teaching experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Display strong classroom delivery skills according to centre methodology.
- Plan and design lesson plans.
- Conduct group tuition classes for primary and secondary students.
- Utilise teaching materials effectively.
- Mark and grade assignments with feedback.
- Maintain classroom administration duties.
- Foster relationships with parents through feedback.
- Collaborate with customer service for positive experiences.
- Participate in curriculum development.
Skills

Location: Parkway Central, Marine Parade.
Working days: 5.5 working days
Working Time: 44 hours per week
- Display strong classroom delivery skills according to centre suggested methodology
- Plan and design lesson plan
- Conduct group tuition classes primary and secondary students
- Effectively utilise teaching materials to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
- Mark and grade students’ assignments with value-added feedback
- Perform required classroom administration responsibilities
- Foster good relationships with students’ parents through regular written and/or verbal feedback
- Work together with the customer service team to provide all stakeholders with a positive customer experience
- Participate in curriculum development (full-time)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Up-to-date with latest AEIS syllabus, MOE syllabus
- 2 years of teaching experience
- Chinese Speaking preferred.
