A governmental agency in Singapore is seeking a strategic leader for its Corporate Communications division. This role involves overseeing a team to deliver impactful communication strategies and managing stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate offers extensive experience in corporate communications, excels in storytelling, and can navigate complex topics. This position reports directly to the Deputy Director and aims to enhance the agency's visibility and impact in the scientific community and public sphere.
The Corporate Communications (CC) division at A*STAR works in close partnership with our research entities to communicate how our discoveries translate into meaningful outcomes for the public, industry, and scientific community through a dynamic, multi-channel approach.
We are looking for a strategic, people‑centred, and proactive individual to lead a team that develops and implements integrated communications strategies showcasing “made‑in‑Singapore” science, technology, and innovation. The individual will play a key leadership role in guiding and mentoring a team of officers, building strong relationships across A*STARs research entities, and ensuring that our communications amplify A*STAR's contributions to Singapore's economy and national priorities.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands‑on communications experience, has a strong instinct for identifying impactful stories, and can provide clear direction and counsel on communications strategy, stakeholder engagement, and media relations.
This role reports to the Deputy Director, Corporate Communications.
