Job summary
A leading company in automation is seeking an Assistant Engineer (Maintenance) to join their team in Alexandra. The role includes HMI design, preventive maintenance, and cybersecurity support. Ideal candidates should possess a Nitec in Electrical or Computer Engineering and relevant industry experience, proficient in PLC programming. - Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8AM to 5PM / 8.30AM to 5.30PM / 9AM to 6PM / 9.30AM to 6.30PM / 10AM to 7PM
- Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3,800 Basic + Midnight Allowance + OT + AWS + Performance Bonus (Up to 3 Months) + Medical Benefits ($500/year) with Dependents Coverage + 14 - 17 Days Annual Leave + Company Activities + Company Trips
- Duration : Perm / 2 Years Contract (Renewable or Convertible to Perm)

Responsibilities:
- Assist the team with HMI graphics design and updates.
- Aid the team in implementing P&ID logic using Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites or premises.
- Help the team with cybersecurity vulnerability threat patching for project hardware and software.
- Provide support to the team in maintenance projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum Nitec in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or related qualifications
- Industrial experience in process automation and M&E control systems.
- Proficient in PLC programming, FactoryTalk View SE, Studio 5000, and C programming.
- Experience as an IT Administrator, including Windows OS hardening/patching, firewall management, and network switch configuration.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley Control Logic PLC and Yokogawa Stardom PLC.
- Possession of a valid Class 3 Singapore driving license.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates
