Software Engineer
Job summary
A global technology recruitment firm is seeking a Software Engineer in Singapore for a 12-month renewable contract. The successful candidate will drive technical design proposals, collaborating with product and support teams to refine project specifications. They will implement and test complex features, design front-end and backend systems, and create large-scale consumer products. Proficiency in decentralized source control and modern JavaScript frameworks is essential, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- At least 3 to 5 years working experience preferred.
- Proficient with decentralized source control management tools.
- Experience in driving large cross-functional engineering efforts.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical design proposals and communicate complex features.
- Work with product, design, and support teams to define project specifications.
- Implement and test complex project features to meet timelines.
- Design and develop front-end interfaces and backend systems.
- Create consumer products and features on large scale projects.
- Partner with teams to build and scale a fully automated platform.
Skills
SALT is looking to hire a Software Engineer in Singapore fora global technology client. This is a 12 month renewable contract role.
- Drive technical design proposals and effectively communicate complex featuresand systems in detail.
- Work closely with product, design, Support and other cross functional teams todefine and refine project specifications.
- Technical design, implement and test (unit and end to end) complex project featuresand ensure hitting the project release timeline.
- Design and develop front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, or backend systemsacross a number of programming languages such as JavaScript,PHP(Hack)/Python
- Create consumer products and features on a large scale tasks and projects withincreasing levels of complexity
- Partner closely with Product, Platform and Operations teams to build and scale afully automated platform for operations.
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) of full-stack projects withindustry-wide impact
- Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions
- Experience in working effectively with and influencing senior engineers acrossorganizations
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects within a specified timeline
- Experience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts
- Proficient with decentralized source control management tools such as Git andMercurial within a large team environment
- Proficient with React/Vue/Angular and/or other similar modern JavaScript framework
- Atleast 3 to 5 years working experience preferred
