Job summary

Job description

SALT is looking to hire a Software Engineer in Singapore fora global technology client. This is a 12 month renewable contract role.

Job Responsibility:

• Drive technical design proposals and effectively communicate complex featuresand systems in detail.
• Work closely with product, design, Support and other cross functional teams todefine and refine project specifications.
• Technical design, implement and test (unit and end to end) complex project featuresand ensure hitting the project release timeline.
• Design and develop front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, or backend systemsacross a number of programming languages such as JavaScript,PHP(Hack)/Python
• Create consumer products and features on a large scale tasks and projects withincreasing levels of complexity
• Partner closely with Product, Platform and Operations teams to build and scale afully automated platform for operations.

Qualification:

• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) of full-stack projects withindustry-wide impact
• Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions
• Experience in working effectively with and influencing senior engineers acrossorganizations
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects within a specified timeline
• Experience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts
• Proficient with decentralized source control management tools such as Git andMercurial within a large team environment
• Proficient with React/Vue/Angular and/or other similar modern JavaScript framework
• Atleast 3 to 5 years working experience preferred
