Job summary
A financial services firm in Singapore is looking for a Business Analyst with 6-8 years in the banking domain to support Treasury & Markets projects. The ideal candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, conduct user acceptance testing, and possess strong skills in SQL along with a higher degree in business or IT. Familiarity with multi-asset class products and experience with Agile delivery methodologies are preferred. The role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to manage diverse projects autonomously.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years as a Business Analyst in banking domain.
- Understanding of multi-asset class products like FX, Bonds, FXO, Equity Derivatives preferred.
- Experience managing projects independently.
Responsibilities
- Handle Treasury & Markets Projects/Enhancements.
- Gather business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and resolve issues.

- Part of a scrum team handling Treasury & Markets Projects/Enhancements.
- Gather Business requirements from stakeholders (Front Office, Back Office, Finance etc.) including facilitating requirements workshops.
- Analyze/Validate the business requirements and translate them into detail requirement specifications (includes functional and non-functional requirements).
- Ensure requirements have proper traceability.
- Conduct User acceptance testing and reviews and drives resolutions for the issue encountered.
- Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational and technical considerations, and recommend sound solutions.
- Possess strong business & technical subject matter knowledge.
- Leverage the subject matter experts in T&O in delivery of structured and well-thought through solutions.
- Become an effective “bridge” between users and technology.
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Bachelors or higher degree preferably in business or Computer Science IT
- At least 6-8 years working as a Business Analyst in banking domain
- Possess strong business & technical subject matter knowledg, Understanding of multi-asset class products; FX, Bonds, FXO, Equity Derivatives is preferred.
- Must have experience in SQL and Elastic Search/Kibana is a plus
- Working experience on Treasury & Markets Related Projectis preferred.
- Ability to run and manage projects independently.
- Experience in Agile deliverywill be an advantage.
- Experience working on Jira, Confluence will be an advantage.
