Job summary

A technology services firm based in Singapore is seeking a Server Administrator. The role involves hardware setup and maintenance of Windows Servers, ensuring system performance and stability with proactive monitoring and backups. Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in Windows Server administration and a degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Additional certifications like SSCP are a plus. This role is a one-year contract, working Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in Windows Server system administration.
• Prefer with strong Windows Servers’ experience in Level 1 or early Level 2.
• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Hardware setup, design, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Servers.
• Proactive monitoring of system performance to ensure stability, security, and efficiency.
• Perform and ensure error-free server and data backups.
• Execute restoration and disaster recovery exercises when required.
• Implement IT security systems aligned with policies and guidelines.
