Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Data Policy) to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: 2-year renewable contract
- Position: Senior Business Analyst (Data Policy)
- Location: Central (Nearest MRT: Outram Park)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Salary Package: Up to $10,000 + Completion Bonus + Medical Benefits
Job Responsibilities
- Review, interpret, and formulate data standards, data access and protection policies, data sharing frameworks, processes, and guidelines tailored to business needs.
- Define necessary tools and processes (e.g., Third-Party Management, Consent Management, Data Contractual Agreements) and collaborate with stakeholders for their effective implementation to support data governance and compliance.
- Act as the subject matter expert, providing guidance to internal stakeholders on the application of prevailing data protection laws and policies across various programs and data-sharing initiatives.
- Develop materials, plan, and conduct engagements to educate staff on the latest data management policies and best practices.
- Review contracts and agreements for data protection and confidentiality clauses, advising stakeholders to facilitate secure data access and sharing with external partners.
- Oversee the review, management, and reporting of data requests.
- Serve as the primary liaison for Data Management and Data Policy inquiries and submission requests from other Government Agencies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Business Management, Law, Information Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Leading and/or delivering data governance, data protection, or data management work
- Formulating data policies, standards, frameworks, processes, and guidelines
- Managing information/records, including lifecycle management and data modelling
- Conducting risk assessments and/or business audits
- Drafting or reviewing data protection and confidentiality clauses in legal agreements
- Ability to translate complex policies and technical governance requirements into clear, non-technical language for business stakeholders.
- Adaptable and effective in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in programme or project management.
- Possession of certifications in data governance, data protection, privacy, data analytics, business analytics, or related fields is a plus.
- Experience with drafting of, or compliance with Singapore Government IM8 policies would be an added advantage.
- Experience in data security or cybersecurity is advantageous.
