The Project Manager oversees the end-to-end execution of industrial maintenance, construction, and turnaround projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role coordinates multidisciplinary teams to execute complex work scopes—from refinery shutdowns to power plant upgrades—while maintaining strict compliance with OSHA, PSM, and client-specific safety standards. Responsibilities include developing project execution plans, managing subcontractor performance, and implementing quality control systems to meet technical specifications. Whether leading daily safety briefings or resolving critical path delays, the Project Manager’s operational expertise keeps industrial projects on track while mitigating risks in high-hazard environments. Serving as the primary point of accountability for clients, contractors, and corporate stakeholders, the Project Manager aligns field execution with business objectives. The position requires expertise in industrial work processes, including planning and scheduling (Primavera P6/MS Project), cost forecasting, and change management for labor-intensive service contracts. The professional analyzes productivity metrics, enforces permit-to-work systems, and ensures seamless handover to operations teams. The ability to balance technical, logistical, and financial constraints makes this role instrumental in delivering reliable industrial services—from predictive maintenance programs to large-scale equipment overhauls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- 6+ years of experience managing industrial maintenance, construction, or turnaround projects
- Proven track record delivering projects in high-hazard industries (oil & gas, petrochemicals, power)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, PSM, and client-specific safety protocols
- Proficiency in project control tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with cost forecasting, productivity analysis, and change management
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred
