The project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed‑use development, including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts, along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high‑caliber and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Leading programme delivery under FIDIC, the role ensures contractual compliance, impartial decision‑making, and transparent communication. Responsible for administering contracts, certifying payments, and managing claims, the role safeguards technical and commercial standards while driving collaboration to achieve successful project outcomes.

You’ll be responsible for
  • Administer FIDIC contracts, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
  • Review contractor’s submissions, schedules, method statements, and technical documents.
  • Issue authorised instructions and maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Certify payments and manage variations, safeguarding programme and cost integrity.
  • Maintain impartiality and independence in all contractual assessments.
  • Monitor the quality of the works and confirm they meet contractual and technical standards.
  • Manage early resolution of disagreements through proactive communication and clarification.
  • Evaluate claims and resolve disputes impartially, promoting collaboration and contractual fairness.
You’ll need to have
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 15 years minimum delivering major programmes.
  • Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers; GCC/KSA experience preferred.
  • Proven expertise in FIDIC contract administration, claims, and cost control.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and impartial decision‑making skills under pressure.
