Job Description

About the Role:

This Executive will be part of a growing sales team dedicated to expanding our customer reach. The main responsibility is to grow their designated market to meet Trella's targets and vision.

What You'll Do:
  1. Identify prospective customers, generate leads, and convert them into clients.
  2. Manage and grow client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
  3. Visit adjacent markets within the designated territory to identify opportunities.
  4. Drive business growth and expansion in the assigned territory.
  5. Manage sales team performance based on KPIs like lead generation and opportunity conversion.
  6. Achieve personal and team targets collaboratively.
  7. Engage with new and existing customers for onboarding and opportunity development.
  8. Meet targets set by Commercial Management.
  9. Highlight product features to demonstrate how they solve customer problems.
  10. Respond to customer inquiries about Trella's products and services.
  11. Negotiate prices and terms, and prepare sales agreements.
  12. Collaborate across different sectors within the company.
  13. Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to sustain relationships.
  14. Provide excellent customer service by listening and addressing customer needs.
  15. Work with sales management and operations to strategize and implement best practices.
  16. Update CRM daily and prepare weekly reports for Sales Management.
What You'll Need:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  2. 4-6 years of experience in a commercial environment, with at least 3 years in logistics or freight forwarding.
  3. Experience in selling containerized land transportation is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of import/export, port operations, shipping, and customs clearance is a plus.
  5. Customer-centric, process-driven, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  6. Good presentation skills; a demo may be required.
  7. Strong sales mindset and ability to build partnerships.
  8. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  10. Proven track record of business growth and exceeding revenue targets.
  11. Experience with Salesforce, Pipedrive, and other sales tools.
