A technology services firm in Riyadh is seeking an experienced optical fiber splicer. Candidates must have an electrical diploma and 5 years of splicing experience, along with knowledge of NG standards and tools like OTDR. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic are required for coordination with teams. This role involves performing tests and preparing reports in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifikationen
- 5 years of optical fiber splicing experience required.
- Qualified and approved NG splicer needed.
- Working experience with NG Saudi Arabia is preferred.
Aufgaben
- Splice/joint OPGW as per NG standards.
- Develop test reports and data as per NG standards.
- Coordinate with stringing foreman for pulling and coiling of NMFOC.
Kenntnisse
Ausbildung
- Must have electrical diploma with 5 years of optical fiber splicing experience.
- Should well versed with colour scheme and optical fibers.
- Should splice/ joint OPGW as per NG standards.
- Should be qualified and approved NG splicer.
- Must have knowledge of OTDR and Reflectometer
- Can perform end to end test of drums stringing and after stringing of OPGW and NMFOC.
- Splicing of OPGW and NMFOC can be done on transition area or gantry.
- Should have working experience with NG saudia Arabia.
- Can develop test reports and data as per NG standards.
- Have excellent communication skills in English and Arabic language.
- Can coordinate with stringing foreman for pulling and coiling of NMFOC in underground ducts.
- Know about installation of Optical Fiber Management Rack.
