Qualifications

• 5 years of optical fiber splicing experience required.
• Qualified and approved NG splicer needed.
• Working experience with NG Saudi Arabia is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Splice/joint OPGW as per NG standards.
• Develop test reports and data as per NG standards.
• Coordinate with stringing foreman for pulling and coiling of NMFOC.

Job description

• Must have electrical diploma with 5 years of optical fiber splicing experience.
• Should well versed with colour scheme and optical fibers.
• Should splice/ joint OPGW as per NG standards.
• Should be qualified and approved NG splicer.
• Must have knowledge of OTDR and Reflectometer
• Can perform end to end test of drums stringing and after stringing of OPGW and NMFOC.
• Splicing of OPGW and NMFOC can be done on transition area or gantry.
