Radio technician
Job summary
A communication technology company in Jeddah is seeking a Radio Technician responsible for installing and maintaining radio equipment. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, technical certification preferred, along with 2 years of experience. This role involves troubleshooting, technical support, and ensuring all radio systems function properly. Salary is $1700 per month. Accommodation is not provided.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience working with radio equipment.
- Knowledge of different types of radios and their functions.
- Familiarity with electrical components and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test radio equipment in various settings.
- Troubleshoot any issues with radio equipment and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of radio systems.
- Provide technical support to users of the radio equipment.
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies in radio communications.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects.
As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment in Jeddah. Your main goal will be to ensure that all radio systems are functioning properly and providing clear communication. You will work with various types of radios including two-way radios, satellite radios, and emergency communication systems.
