Job Description:
You as a Tender & Quotation Senior Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Your role involves creating and completing bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications or requirements/budgets to ensure market competitiveness and high margins for the company.
Your responsibilities
- Read tender specifications, propose economical technical solutions, and prepare complete material costing, sales prices, and technical documentation as per tender requirements.
- Collect and archive documentation related to offers and orders, record assumptions and decisions, and regularly report the status of bids/estimates/quotations. Analyze reasons for tenders being won or lost.
- Support sales teams during technical clarifications for submitted offers, capable of conducting technical clarification meetings independently with clients.
- Identify potential risks in bids, quotations, estimates, and related contracts. Participate in Risk Review processes as per company policy.
- Possess thorough technical knowledge of company products, especially H.V. Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS).
- Gather and collate all information required to prepare proposals, including technical and cost elements.
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand needs and ensure a positive experience. Provide technical support to Sales Managers during meetings.
- Review and finalize EPC orders technically and commercially in coordination with sales engineers.
- Manage target dates and ensure timely completion of work.
- Communicate efficiently to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare all technical, financial, and project management aspects of bids, including pricing, trading conditions, and project timelines.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management to fulfill job requirements.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales & Tendering, especially with H.V. Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proactive, communicative team player.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
