Job summary

A leading pipe manufacturing company in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is looking for a QC Inspector. The role requires expertise in steel thread inspection and ensuring product quality through rigorous testing and compliance with API standards. Candidates should have an engineering degree or diploma, with hands-on QC experience in oilfield casing, tubing, and drill pipes. The position is crucial for maintaining high-quality manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pipes and couplers meet quality standards during manufacturing.
• Conduct in-process and online/offline inspections.
• Prepare daily QC reports and project documentation.
• Participate in stock counting and lead a team during audits.
• Comply with safety and environmental control procedures.

Skills

Background in steel thread inspection per API standards

QC inspection and testing of Raw Material and finished products

Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings

Ability to prepare reports

Ability to use measuring and testing equipment

Knowledge of API 5CT / 5L specifications

Inspect casing, tubing, and drill pipe

Familiarity with non‑destructive testing methods

Experience with threaded connection gauging

Hands-on experience and certification in quality control

Education

Engineering Degree / Diploma (Civil or Mechanical)
