Job Title: Senior Mechanic (Diesel Mechanic)

Location: Al Lith, KSA

Salary: 3,500 SAR per month

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanic (Diesel Mechanic) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of Caterpillar (CAT) engines, specifically the 35 series, as well as hands-on experience working with CAT Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks (ADT), and Excavators.

This role is based on-site and offers an opportunity to work with high-performance heavy machinery. The company provides accommodation and two meals per day on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engine Overhaul: Perform complete overhauls and repairs on Caterpillar (CAT) 35 series diesel engines ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine preventive maintenance and diagnostics on CAT Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks (ADT), and Excavators to ensure machinery operates at peak performance.
• Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical and electrical faults in engines, systems, and components, and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Systematic Inspections: Perform detailed inspections of engines, hydraulics, and drive systems to detect and prevent mechanical failures.
• Parts Replacement: Replace faulty or worn-out parts such as filters, gaskets, pumps, belts, and hoses, ensuring compliance with OEM standards.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, parts used, and labor hours. Follow all safety protocols and ensure proper reporting of any hazards or issues encountered.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other mechanics and staff to ensure efficient workflow and that all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
• Adherence to Safety: Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure that all tools and equipment are used properly and in accordance with safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Diesel Mechanics or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Proven experience in Caterpillar engine overhaul and repair/maintenance of CAT Dozers, ADTs, and Excavators.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, particularly Caterpillar 35 series engines.
• Ability to perform detailed mechanical diagnostics and repairs.
• Proficient with the use of tools and machinery in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in demanding, hands-on environments and lift heavy components when needed.
