Job Purpose
The Enterprise Architect plays a critical role in designing and implementing an organization's technology ecosystem to align with business goals, enhance efficiency, and support scalability. This role involves creating cohesive IT strategies, defining system architectures, and establishing standards for seamless technology integration. By aligning business and IT objectives, enterprise architects enable organizations to innovate, reduce costs, manage risks, and optimize resources sustainably. Candidates should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role and a total of 15 years of IT experience, preferably with banking sector exposure and cross-industry experience. Qualified candidates with this background are rare in the market.

• Design and update the enterprise architecture to ensure alignment with business objectives, scalability, and technological advancements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop IT strategies supporting business goals, focusing on innovation, cost-efficiency, and risk mitigation.
• Establish and enforce technology standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
• Assess, select, and recommend technologies supporting organizational needs for optimal integration and sustainability.
• Ensure seamless system integration, creating a cohesive technology environment.
• Identify and mitigate security, compliance, and operational risks, ensuring adherence to standards like GDPR and HIPAA.
• Work with business and IT teams to translate requirements into architectural solutions.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, focusing on modernization and leveraging emerging technologies.
• Regularly assess and optimize architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Supervise architectural projects to ensure standards and principles are followed.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related; Master’s preferred.
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF.
• Minimum 5 years in enterprise architecture and 15 years of IT experience.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps) and IT governance frameworks (ITIL).
• Knowledge of cloud computing (SaaS, PaaS) and microservices architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with risk management and regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Proven leadership in technology projects with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Proactive, results-oriented, with leadership and mentorship skills.
• Native Arabic speaker and fluent in English.
• Good knowledge of core banking applications such as Core Banking, Payment Gateways, ATM, etc.

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
