Job Description

WSP is looking for a highly experienced Senior Surveyor Engineer to join our team for a major infrastructure and stormwater project in Jeddah. The role requires extensive field and office-based experience in land and topographic surveying, particularly in large-scale civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all surveying activities across the project site.
  • Conduct and oversee land, topographic, and construction surveys related to infrastructure and stormwater networks.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control of all survey data and mapping deliverables.
  • Supervise field survey teams and verify the work of subcontractor surveyors.
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure correct interpretation and implementation of plans.
  • Review contractor survey reports, as-built drawings, and coordinate system verifications.
  • Maintain and manage survey records, benchmarks, and reference points throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in resolving survey-related issues during construction and provide technical support when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in surveying within large-scale infrastructure or stormwater projects.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, drones), and CAD/GIS tools.
  • Proficient in survey data processing software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or Leica Geo Office.
  • Familiarity with Saudi surveying standards, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a consultancy or PMC environment preferred.
