Cost Control Manager

The Senior Civil Cost Control Engineer supports the Lead Civil Cost Control Engineer in managing cost-related aspects of civil works within construction projects. This role involves developing detailed cost estimates, monitoring budgets, tracking project expenditures, and ensuring that financial targets are met. The senior engineer also plays a critical role in assessing variations, preparing reports, and maintaining cost data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

• إعداد ميزانية المشروع وفق النموذج المعتمد لمراقبة التكاليف.
• مراقبة تكاليف المشروع مقارنة بالميزانية والإبلاغ عن الفروقات.
• تحليل ودعم أوامر التغيير والمطالبات المتعلقة بالأعمال المدنية والمعمارية بالتنسيق مع إدارة المشروع وقسم الكميات.
• المساعدة في اعتماد طلبات الدفع للمقاولين والموردين وتقييم التقدم بالتنسيق مع إدارة المشروع وقسم الكميات وقسم المالية.
• دعم إعداد توقعات التدفقات النقدية والتقارير المالية.
• الحفاظ على بيانات دقيقة للتكاليف وضمان تحديث الوثائق (تحليل أوامر الشراء، جداول القوى العاملة والمعدات).
• التعاون مع فرق التخطيط والمشتريات وإدارة المشروع لمواءمة بيانات التكاليف مع مراحل المشروع.
• إجراء تحليل للتكاليف والمقارنات لدعم هندسة القيمة.
• رفع تقارير دورية إلى مهندس مراقبة تكاليف الأعمال المدنية الرئيسي حول الأداء المالي بشكل شهري تقرير(MCR).

• Review cost estimates for Civil works after project award.
• Prepare the project budget on the approved cost control master budget format.
• Monitor project costs against budgets and report variances (Budget Comparison sheet).
• Analyze & Support in civil & Arch -related change orders and cost claims in coordination with PMT & QS department.
• Assist in certifying contractor/Vendors payment applications and progress valuations in coordination with PMT/QS & Finance departments.
• Support preparation of cash flow forecasts and financial status reports.
• Maintain accurate cost data and ensure documentation is up-to-date (PO analysis, Manpower + Equipment Timesheets).
• Collaborate with planning, procurement, and PMT teams to align cost data with project milestones.
• Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to support value engineering.
• Report to the Lead Civil Cost Control Engineer with regular updates on cost performance on monthly basis (MCR).

• درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو مجال ذو صلة.
• خبرة من 5 إلى 8 سنوات في مراقبة التكاليف لمشاريع البناء المدني.
• إجادة استخدام أدوات إدارة التكاليف وبرنامج Excel
• معرفة قوية بمبادئ الهندسة المدنية ومنهجيات البناء.
• الإلمام بإدارة العقود والنماذج القياسية(FIDIC)
• مهارات تحليلية وتواصل وإعداد التقارير

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in cost control for civil construction projects.
• Proficiency in cost management tools and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with contract administration and standard forms (e.g., FIDIC).
• Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
