The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in vendor management, cost optimization, and supply chain preferably in a manufacturing industry/fast paced industry environment based in KSA.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Engineer to manage strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and procurement operations for our new project in KSA. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in vendor management, cost optimization, and supply chain preferably in a manufacturing industry/fast paced industry environment based in KSA.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the end-to-end procurement process including RFQs, bids, negotiations, and contract management.
• Identify, source, and qualify local and international suppliers to ensure competitiveness in cost, quality, and delivery.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring uninterrupted supply of materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and maintenance to meet procurement needs.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance with company standards, and resolve any supply-related issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GCC sourcing practices, contracts, import/export regulations, and customs clearance procedures.

Our Ideal Match

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 8–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of GCC sourcing practices, contracts, import/export regulations, and customs clearance.
• Proven track record in vendor negotiations, supplier management, and cost optimization.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Fluent in Arabic with advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
