Senior Planning Officer | Dammam, Saudi Arabia

The Role: To ensure inventory levels in all sales depots reflect inventory policy for every active SKU by monitoring stock levels, analyzing sales trends, identifying aging of stocks, suggesting replenishment of stock quantities, submitting suggested stocks to CPP, offloading CPP-approved replenishment stocks to SAP, monitoring CPP-confirmed orders with sales depots, and generating service level reports.

About the role:

Responsibilities
  • Monitor stock fluctuations to identify areas for replenishment or order adjustments.
  • Analyze sales trends to ensure a robust stock replenishment plan.
  • Identify aging of stocks to reduce expiry of stocks in depots.
  • Submit consolidated planned orders of stock replenishment to CPP for confirmation.
  • Generate weekly reefer turnaround delay reports.

Candidate must meet the following criteria to be shortlisted:

  • Diploma in accounts, commerce, planning or related stream / graduate in commerce.
  • 2 years' experience in logistics, supply planning.
  • Experience in managing a high number of SKUs.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Strong PC skills (computer literate in SAP, ERP).
  • Competencies such as: knowledge of business, sales trends, high analytical skills, numerical ability, ability to interpret information, team player.
