Job description

Our Client, an Italian Multinational PMC company, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team in Riyadh.

Position Title: Quality Manager
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Reporting to: Project Director
Industry: PMC / Construction / Infrastructure

Overview

The Quality Manager will oversee all quality-related activities within the organization, ensuring compliance with international standards and company procedures. The role involves setting up and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS), leading audits, monitoring KPIs, and driving continuous improvement. The Quality Manager will work closely with senior management, clients, and third parties to achieve and sustain the highest standards of quality across all operations.

Reponsibilities
  • Create and improve quality awareness within the organization; and identify areas for improvements.
  • Create, update and maintain all project submittal platforms and all other project specific quality control reports.
  • Investigate and attend to client's feedback reports regarding quality of work.
  • Manage and control quality system requirements in the main project phases schedule, maintain requirements of inspection and test in order to achieve and maintain consistent product delivery.
  • Where appropriate, advises on changes and their implementation and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.
  • Provide periodical reports that reinforce activities that are being installed/constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confronts non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner.
  • Verify the compliance of the Third-Party Entities’ activities are in conformance with predefined standards by assessing their submittals and deliverables as well as by conduct second party audits (KSA and where needed overseas).
  • Assist Pre-construction meetings with GC and the PCM team prior to the start discuss issues that may affect quality.
  • Assist in the coordination and documentation of the testing and commissioning as part of the closeout procedure.
  • Coordinate with construction/installation team for final Commissioning & Test activities.
Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Quality Management, Assurance, and Control.
  • Certification in ISO 19011 Lead Auditor (preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Previous working experience in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
