Overview
The Overseas Recruitment Supervisor will lead and manage the recruitment process for international candidates, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify staffing needs, sourcing candidates, and overseeing the entire recruitment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective overseas recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates. Analyze market trends and adjust recruitment plans accordingly.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and recruitment agencies, to source potential candidates. Build and maintain a network of contacts in target countries to facilitate recruitment efforts.
- Screening and Selection: Review applications and resumes to shortlist candidates based on job requirements. Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ suitability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to understand their staffing needs and job requirements. Coordinate with international HR teams to ensure alignment in recruitment practices.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all recruitment processes comply with local labor laws and international regulations. Manage visa and immigration processes for selected candidates.
- Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for overseas hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Provide support and resources to new employees relocating to the host country.
- Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to management. Analyze the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on overseas or international hiring.
- Skills: Strong understanding of international labor laws and recruitment practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using recruitment software and tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
