Overview
Seeking a Financial Director / Head of Finance who will not only oversee the company's financial operations but also serve as a trusted partner to the leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall objectives
- Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and professional development
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders
- Engage with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and financial reporting requirements
- Monitor financial performance against strategic goals, providing actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency
- Manage cash flow and working capital to support operational and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business performance through financial analysis and strategic planning
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement through thorough analysis of financial data
- Present financial results and forecasts to executive leadership and the board of directors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA is preferred
- 10+ years of experience in finance, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Ideally experience in working with audit firms and/or investment firms, ideally with exposure to M&A and due diligence
- Ability to lead and manage investment rounds, including preparing materials
- Handling due diligence requests and coordinating with investors
- Strong experience in managing relationships with audit firms, tax advisors, regulators, and other stakeholders
- Ability to understand compliance and regulatory frameworks in Saudi Arabia to ensure the company is fully aligned and "clean" in all aspects
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC (Business Central) ideally, but not a must
- Certified Public Accountant ideally, but not a must
- A trusted, reliable professional who can represent the company with external stakeholders
- Hands-on leader who can ensure financial transparency, governance, and investor confidence
- Strong understanding of IFRS standards and financial regulations
- Proven ability to lead and manage a finance team
- Skilled in preparing monthly financial reports and analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging confidently with investors
- Excellent analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong negotiating skills and business acumen in retail or service-oriented industries
