This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader to step into a Cluster General Manager role, overseeing a portfolio of refined lifestyle and hospitality assets, including, most notably, a distinguished luxury hotel at the heart of Kuala Lumpur. More than just operational excellence is required; ideally, the candidate also brings presence, grace under pressure, and commercial clarity. Most importantly, they must possess an unshakable commitment to guest experience at the highest level. In essence, this role goes beyond managing properties — it’s about cultivating a culture of excellence that resonates throughout every facet of the guest journey.

The Role

As Cluster General Manager, you will serve as the strategic and operational heartbeat across multiple high-end properties. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that each asset not only performs but truly excels — delivering thoughtful service, consistent profitability, and a guest experience that resonates long after check‑out. To achieve this, you will work in close partnership with ownership, marketing, and property‑level leaders, aligning efforts to bring a unified vision to life while thoughtfully preserving and celebrating the unique character and identity of each individual location.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
  • Provide clear and cohesive leadership across all multi‑property operations, ensuring alignment with brand identity, performance goals, and guest experience standards.
  • Develop and implement business plans that thoughtfully balance financial objectives with long‑term brand integrity and value creation.
  • Lead the integration of new acquisitions, ensuring they align seamlessly with the group’s established standards, culture, and strategic vision.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of each asset, including the flagship hotel, with a focus on efficiency, consistency, and best‑in‑class hospitality.
  • Foster and empower high‑performing property teams that embody and deliver the brand’s core values.
  • Continuously refine all operational touchpoints — from front desk and housekeeping to F&B and wellness — with a meticulous eye for detail and quality.
Commercial & Financial Oversight
  • Steer top‑line revenue growth and enhance operational profitability across the entire portfolio.
  • Collaborate proactively with revenue management, sales, and marketing teams to maximise RevPAR, drive F&B revenue, and strengthen guest loyalty.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and guest feedback rigorously, using data‑driven insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Brand & Guest Experience
  • Work in close partnership with the marketing team to ensure that all service delivery aligns with the brand ethos and supports engaging on‑property storytelling.
  • Champion guest experiences that are emotionally engaging, culturally authentic, and delivered with consistency and finesse.
  • Serve as the face and voice of each property, actively building local partnerships, community ties, and long‑term brand equity.
Leadership & Culture
  • Promote a high‑performance culture anchored in care, integrity, and excellence at every level of the organisation.
  • Mentor senior property leaders while supporting robust talent development strategies throughout the company.
  • Lead with composure, decisiveness, and humility in all interactions — whether with team members, guests, or stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 10–15 years in senior hotel leadership, with cluster or multi‑property experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing luxury or lifestyle‑driven assets with both strategic and operational responsibility.
  • Deep understanding of high‑end guest expectations and the nuances of modern luxury.
  • Financially astute, systems‑literate, and calm under pressure.
  • An inspiring leader with strong interpersonal sensitivity and cultural intelligence.
  • Experience in Southeast Asia is an advantage but not essential.
