Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Malaysia seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage the end-to-end RFQ process and support sourcing decisions. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, strong procurement experience, and proficiency in English. Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English, knowledge of Mandarin and Japanese is a plus.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage.

  • Coordinate the end-to-end RFQ process, including preparing and tracking RFQs.

Review and validate requestor requirements prior to RFQ issuance.

Consolidate, analyze, and compare supplier quotations to support sourcing decisions.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (PG, PAD, OED and related department if necessary) to align sourcing decisions with business needs.

Focus on the outcome of tasks, results oriented.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Prepare cost analysis, supplier evaluations, and SRB reports for OPS review.

Continuously identify and implement process improvements within the RFQ cycle.

Monitor RFQ cycle time, generate reports, and escape delays when necessary.
